trail of dead is now just "trail of dead". and by the former I'm speaking of ...and you will know us by the trail of dead. dead deady dead bedhead grateful dead breadspread. I wonder why. thumbs down (on name)
saturday I'm going to san antonio. I'm excited because I'm going to be staying at a bed and breakfast. what exciting things are there to do in san antonio besides fiesta texas? that's pretty much the only reason it's even considered a city as far as I can tell.
10 REASONS TO STAY AT THE BRACKENRIDGE HOUSE (I'm not staying at the brackenridge house)
10. It's in an historic district, which you probably don't live in or even want to live in because it's too much work keeping up an old house, but it's fun to visit.
9. You can walk or take the trolley to the Riverwalk. You don't have to take your car and pay for parking and remember where you parked your car when you get ready to go back to your hotel and you don't have to drive to your hotel when you've had too much to drink.
8. They have good beds and lots of antiques. You're going to feel right at home.
Breakfast 7. They have a hot tub, which feels great after a long day on the Riverwalk or Fiesta Texas or any of the other great things to do in San Antonio.
6. Great ratings from Historic Accommodations of Texas, AAA and Mobil.
5. Breakfast is a real banquet. You can pig out on breakfast and skip lunch or have a late lunch and skip dinner. You get to meet the other guests at breakfast too.
4. All the rooms have in-room private baths, coffee makers, cable TV, mini-refrigerators, telephones and there are robes in the rooms.
3. There's lots of other stuff close by.
2. Bennie and Sue are real native Texans. They can remember when I-35 between San Antonio and Dallas was a two lane highway. They live in the place and do most of the work.
1. It's cheaper than all those big hotels on the Riverwalk and you don't have to pay for parking.
